Emb(race): Supporting the development and maintenance of internal IBM resource page that seeks to provide a platform for employees to share their powerful personal stories about racism, bias, prejudice, and being Black in IBM. We also are consolidating educational literature that will help our colleagues become better allies.
WeAreIBM: An initiative that we launched to help support the Global Talent Marketing team find and curate content showcasing diverse IBMer stories for the LifeAtIBM Instagram account. We’ve collected stories especially during Black History Month, International Women’s Month, and Pride Month.

Founded in 2016, the purpose of Underrepresented Minorities in Computing is to promote diversity within the computing fields and foster an environment that empowers underrepresented minorities with technological aspirations through:
Career development: exclusive info sessions with sponsors’ recruiters
Community building: member meetups and events
Academic support: Mentorship program that helps members learn from each other
The club has over 150 members and 15 sponsors which include some of the largest and most influentional technology companies in the world.
